Sowgen Brocante

When he was a child, the owner of Sowgen Brocante always had a few small stones and other precious to a child's heart things in his pockets. Now, his shop is just like large pocket full of old and sometimes surprising things mixed with green plants and dry flowers. It's very easy to loose the track of time here, making discoveries and occasionally asking yourself what exactly this unidentified piece was originally used for.

Sowgen Brocante is located in the vicinity of Ginkaku-ji temple, so don't hesitate to drop in to celebrate your inner child.

Another shop of the same owner, SOWGEN Antiques with café and bar, is situated in Kyoto centre (Tominokoji Takoyakushi sagaru).
