Snowy Kyoto (Part 1 : Kiyomizu-dera area)

Yesterday we had a real snowfall here in Kyoto! Even if I don't particularly like cold, I miss the snow. It reminds me of my childhood days in Belarus with its frosty and snowy winters (even if the things changed these last years due to the global warming and all..). In Kyoto, it snows only a few times a year, so I was super excited to witness the dramatic change of scenery that snow always brings. And I can't forget how I missed the spectacular (heaviest of the last 50 years!) snowfall in January 2015, when I was spending my New Year holidays out of Kyoto..

I started my photo walk from Yasaka slope and then moved up to Kiyomizu-dera temple.

From Kiyomizu-dera, I wanted to go to Kodai-ji temple, so I took Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka streets.
